My husband is looking for a support group to attend - he loves dressing as a woman

Hello I’m not sure if I’m in the group. I’m looking for a support group for my husband. He is looking for a support group to attend. He loves dressing as a woman and always wants to be treated like one. Can you pls direct me in the right direction?
Thank you

Hi Kelly,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to AlterHéros. You are indeed at the right place! We can help you locate some support groups in your area that will be able to support you and your partner. You didn’t provide us with your location, but I can give you the name of a few groups in Quebec. Please note that if you are located outside of the Quebec province, feel free to message us back with your location (city, province or country) and we can provide you a new list of options.
Located in Montreal, ASTT(e)Q aims to promote the health and well-being of trans people. They offer a great variety of services, including peer counselling, outreach, information, resources and referrals. You’ll find more information on how to contact them at: http://www.astteq.org/index.html.
The ATQ association (https://atq1980.org/) offers a great variety of services, including support groups. On their website, you will be able to find an email and a phone number to inquire about these group sessions : groupe_quebec@atq1980.org, 1-855 909-9038 #3.
You can also have access to some support groups via the Alliance Arc-en-ciel in the region of Quebec: https://arcencielquebec.ca/
Iris Estrie in the Eastern Townships also offers great services and have support groups: http://irisestrie.org/
Located in Lanaudière, Le Néo offers a great variety of services, including support groups, resources and individual support: http://le-neo.com/trans/
If you are located in Mauricie, the Trans Mauricie-Centre du Québec association will be able to support your and your partner. Their website is : https://www.transmcdq.com
If you or your partner would prefer to talk or chat with someone, Interligne is a first response centre that provides help and information to those concerned with sexual orientation and gender diversity. You’ll find more information about their services at : https://interligne.co/en/.
I hope these resources will help support you and your partner.
As mentioned earlier, please don’t hesitate to reach out if these options aren’t located near you or if you feel the need to!
Elizabeth, for AlterHéros
