Holder of a masters in Creative Arts Therapies from Concordia University, Eli’s work is rooted social justice and in the belief that creative self-expression is a pathway towards liberation and reclaiming our stories. Mental health advocate, their practice combines non traditional interventions such as art therapy and pet assisted therapy, they offering creative resources and a non-judgmental space for people who are affected by minority stress. When they’re outside the studio, you will probably find Eli embroidering or surrounded by their plants or pawed companions!
